Assembling a Wedding Cake – Multi Tier Wedding Cakes
The wedding cake assembling should be done very carefully. Here in this video Melissa demonstrates how to assemble a three tire wedding cake.
In this video you can see that she uses wooden dowels inserted into the cake and it is to prevent the cake from leaning, each tier is supported by several wooden dowel or plastic drinking straws that sunk into the cake. Along with these each tier is supported by stiff and lightweight cardboard piece exactly match the shape of the cake which help in prevent the frosting from cracking and buckling.
